GFT TECHNOLOGIES SE is seeking a Data Engineer for a Colombia-based role focused on data integration within a secure, regulated environment. You will design and build custom data connectors using GCP services to support large-scale modernization projects.

You will collaborate with business and engineering teams, gather requirements, implement robust data pipelines with Dataflow, Cloud Functions, and Cloud Run, and ensure governance and quality across data sources.

Formación

• Experience with Google Cloud Platform and Big Data on GCP.
• Experience developing custom data connectors and ingestion pipelines.
• Ability to gather, analyze, and document requirements.
• Experience with Agile environments.

Responsabilidades

• Gather and define requirements for custom data connectors not covered by existing library.
• Collaborate with Business Analysts, Discovery teams, and Data Architects.
• Design, develop, and test custom connectors in the GFT environment.
• Build scalable data integration solutions using Dataflow, Cloud Functions, and Cloud Run.
• Implement error handling, retries, and dead-letter queues.
• Validate connector performance and compliance with requirements.
• Support data ingestion, transformation, and integration across systems.
• Document connector architecture and operational procedures.
• Coordinate deployment handoffs to Lead Data Engineer at milestones.
• Participate in data governance and data quality initiatives.
• Contribute to enterprise data modernization programs in secure environments.
