Job summary

Qualifications

• Degree in finance or economics.
• 4+ years in a finance/controlling role.
• Strong IFRS and consolidated reporting experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare statutory and consolidated GL accounts in ERP Oracle NetSuite per IFRS.
• Coordinate the monthly close process.
• Ensure timely closings for monthly and annual reports.
• Maintain up-to-date accounting policy in line with IFRS/group policies.
• Drive process improvements for reporting accuracy and speed.
• Support annual/interim audits.
• Advise on accounting and reporting issues.
• Contribute to consolidation and financial control procedures.

We’re looking for a detail-oriented Finance Manager to oversee month-end closes while building a high-standard control environment, ensuring accuracy and compliance at all times.

What you'll be doing

• Preparing statutory and consolidated GL accounts in ERP Oracle NetSuite in accordance with local norms and IFRS
• Coordinating the accounting and month-end closing process
• Ensuring accurate and timely closing of the books for monthly and annual reporting
• Managing the accounting policy, ensuring that it's up-to-date and the latest changes in IFRS and group policies are implemented
• Implementing process improvements to boost the efficiency and accuracy of monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting through automation and control measures
• Participating in annual and interim audits
• Advising on accounting and reporting issues
• Contributing to and defining consolidation as well as financial control processes and procedures

What you'll need

• A degree in finance or economics
• 4+ years of experience in a finance and controlling function
• Excellent accounting knowledge, with proven experience in IFRS and consolidated financial reporting
• Financial services experience, ideally in an international setting
• A structural and logical approach to solving problems
• Exceptional analytical skills and a hands-on approach to working with data
• Experience within a fast-growing organisation
• Great motivation and focus on delivery
