Beckman Coulter Life Sciences, a Danaher operating company, seeks a Field Application Specialist in Flow Cytometry based in Colombia with a fully remote arrangement across LATAM.

You will lead pre-sales activities, demos, validations, and customer training, and work with sales, service, and partners to deliver high-quality scientific support and optimized workflows.

Formación

• Must have significant Hands-on experience with Flow Cytometry.
• A background in clinical flow cytometry routine for Leukemia & Lymphoma.
• University degree in biological sciences, pharmacist, biotechnology or a related subject.
• Communicating effectively and managing relationships with all stakeholders, including key opinion leaders.
• Advanced level in English.

Responsabilidades

• Pre-sales activities include customer consultations, customer site-based demos, workflow studies, and support for scientific meetings.
• Successfully implement roll out, customer training, relevant validations and transitions of flow cytometry hardware and reagents at new and existing customer sites.
• Work with existing applications/sales specialists, channel partners, and our service team to provide high quality and responsive customer support.
• Liaise and assist our customers to achieve a superior level of scientific support. Attend to troubleshooting and problem resolution in a timely and professional manner.
• Assess customer requirements and advise the sales team on the most appropriate products and solutions to fulfil these requirements.

The Field Application Specialist in Flow Cytometry is responsible for assessing potential application of company products to meet customer needs pre and/or post‑sales as well as preparing detailed product specifications for the development and implementation of customer products/applications/solutions in alignment with manufactured stated specifications. To Implement Flow Cytometry routine for different scientific applications. Lead product demo/training (at conferences, seminars, trade shows, or customer sites) for customer. May assist with optimizing products to meet customer needs and workflow requirements. This position reports to the Flow Cytometry Applications Manager LATAM and is part of the Sales organization located in Colombia and will be fully remote role.

The Essential Requirements Of The Job Include

• Advanced level in English

Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements

• Ability to travel 50%-70% (10-20% of time, outside Colombia)
• Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
• Must be based in Colombia

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

• A strong background in immunology and experience in academia will be highly valued
• Technical or applications support within a diagnostic or life science company is beneficial
• Practical experience with Spectral Flow Cytometry
• Previous experience on flow analysis Software for high dimensional data (like tSNE, CITRUS, FlowSOM, Parade and other)
