DeSimone Consulting Engineering in Medellín, Colombia seeks a senior façade design and consultancy lead to drive technical delivery of building enclosure projects from planning through construction. You will coordinate with architects, owners, contractors, and project teams to ensure scope, schedules and budgets are met.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Architecture or Engineering with licensure, 5+ years in building envelope systems, and proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and related software.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering or related field.
• Licensure in Architecture or Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of experience with building envelope systems and materials (Roofing, Waterproofing, Curtain Wall, etc.).
• Experience performing façade design and engineering.
• Master’s degree in Architecture or Engineering preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Lead façade design and consultancy projects from planning through construction.
• Coordinate with architects, owners, contractors, consultants, and project stakeholders.
• Manage project scope, schedules, budgets, deliverables, and milestones.
• Assign work to project team members, review progress, provide quality control, and ensure deadlines.
• Identify project risks and communicate scope, budget, or schedule concerns proactively.
• Mentor and develop junior staff and support recruitment and team growth.
