Job summary

AgileEngine is seeking an Email Developer to build HTML email templates and deploy personalized campaigns for enterprise loyalty clients. You will ensure accurate rendering across devices and email clients, and build reusable components tailored to client requirements.

You will work with Salesforce Marketing Cloud as the primary platform, along with Litmus or Email on Acid for rendering tests. A strong eye for detail and clear communication are essential.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in email development, marketing operations, or digital campaign execution.
• HTML and CSS for email, including cross-client rendering.
• Experience with enterprise campaign platform; Salesforce Marketing Cloud preferred.
• Foundational understanding of journey orchestration and automated flows.
• Familiarity with campaign automation concepts: event-based triggers and lifecycle programs.
• Understanding of A/B and MVT testing mechanics and test planning.
• Knowledge of audience segmentation and data-driven personalization.
• Strong attention to detail and proactive QA.
• Clear communicator able to flag issues before builds start.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain HTML/CSS email templates for accurate rendering across devices and clients.
• Build reusable components and adapt templates to campaign requirements.
• Test email rendering across clients using Litmus or Email on Acid.
• Build and deploy outbound campaigns in Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
• Configure journey logic, segmentation, and suppression lists per campaign specs.
• Implement dynamic content and personalization tokens per strategy.
• Own the final deployment step and ensure on-time delivery.
• Execute A/B and multivariate test configurations per test plans.
• Coordinate asset handoffs with Campaign Managers and content partners.
• Document best practices and maintain build standards within Development.
