Rockwell Automation in Medellín, Colombia invites a Software Engineer to join our software engineering group. You will design dashboards, implement build/deploy processes, and monitor deployments with Grafana and Prometheus, working across global teams to deliver reliable solutions.

The role requires a Bachelor's in CS/CE/EE or equivalent, 2+ years in software product development, and experience with Kubernetes, Terraform, and cloud platforms.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• At least 2 years of experience in a software product development environment.
• Experience with cloud services like AWS or Microsoft Azure.
• Knowledge of software engineering best practices across the SDLC.

Responsabilidades

• Design and implement Grafana dashboards for operational insights.
• Use Prometheus (or equivalent) to monitor the health of deployments.
• Develop automated runbooks for common operational tasks and resolving support escalation issues.
• Document and review incidents and future resolutions, including team knowledge.
• Design and implement build, deployment, and configuration management systems.
• Test implemented designs.
• Provide technical guidance and educate team members and coworkers on development and operations.
