Job summary

EM&E Group is a Spanish defense and security leader seeking an expert Mechanical Engineer to lead the architectural design and structural development of next‑generation military vehicle systems. You will drive the system architecture and ensure robust integration across subsystems in a demanding defense setting.

Responsibilities include defining mechanical layouts, designing high‑strength hulls and armor, and supervising FEA for blast and fatigue while ensuring compliance with MIL‑STD and STANAG

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Aerospace Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years in the defense sector focusing on armored/military vehicles.
• Deep knowledge of vehicle dynamics, survivability, and material science.
• Expert level in Siemens NX.

Responsibilities

• Define overall mechanical layout and integration of military vehicle platforms.
• Develop high‑strength chassis, hulls, and ballistic protection structures.
• Oversee FEA for blast, impact, and fatigue.
• Ensure designs meet strict military standards (e.g., MIL-STD, STANAG).
• Coordinate with electronics, optics, and weapon systems integration teams.
• Technical oversight of specialized defense manufacturing vendors.
