Blend is seeking a Data Engineer Manager to lead the design and implementation of AI-driven data governance and privacy solutions for a high‑impact enterprise initiative. The role balances technical leadership with hands-on execution across Snowflake and AWS environments.

You will define governance strategies, build intelligent automation frameworks, and ensure secure, compliant data across modern cloud platforms while mentoring the team and collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders.

Formación

• 7+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Data Governance, or related fields.
• Proven experience in a technical leadership or managerial role with hands-on involvement.
• Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake (Must).
• Deep expertise in Data Governance frameworks and implementation (Must).
• Hands-on experience building AI/ML-driven or agent-based governance solutions (Must).
• Experience implementing data masking and privacy solutions using agents (Must).
• Strong experience with AWS services (S3, Glue, Lambda, AgentCore) and data workflows (Must).
• Proven expertise using CoCo and Cortex effectively for intelligent data processing (Must).
• Experience auditing data systems to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies (Must).
• Strong experience with SQL and Python for data processing and automation.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the design and implementation of AI-driven data governance solutions with automation and scalability.
• Build and oversee agent-based frameworks to enforce governance, privacy, and compliance automatically.
• Contribute hands-on to solutions in Snowflake and AWS environments.
• Implement PII protection strategies including data masking and obfuscation via agents.
• Design and optimize data workflows in AWS (S3, Glue, Lambda, AgentCore).
• Use CoCo and Cortex to build intelligent governance processes and enhance automation.
• Establish and enforce data governance standards and best practices across teams.
• Audit data processes to detect trends, patterns, and anomalies for continuous improvement.
