Job summary

Otter in Bogotá seeks a data analytics/technical strategy professional to build reports and dashboards using SQL, Python, and Looker Studio. You will model data across the customer lifecycle and automate workflows through code and AI tools.

You will perform deep-dive analyses to provide insights to leadership, communicate results to executives, and work autonomously to break down complex problems into actionable steps for the team.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or Economics with coursework in statistics.
• About 2 years of relevant experience in data analytics or technical strategy roles.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and Python, with data modeling skills.
• High level of autonomy and self-management to own projects end-to-end.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management with advanced English fluency.

What you’ll do

• Build and maintain reports, dashboards, and visualizations to track key performance metrics using SQL, Python & Looker Studio.
• Integrate deeply into business operations across the customer lifecycle to model data, report KPIs, and automate operational workflows using code and AI tools.
• Perform deep dive analysis of operating metrics providing business insights to leadership by understanding the situation, developing a hypothesis, analyzing data, and reporting back findings/solutions.
• Effectively communicate analysis results to business leaders for decision-making and prioritization
• Operate with high autonomy to decompose complex business problems into actionable tasks and strategic recommendations for leadership.

What we’re looking for

• Academic background in Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or Economics with coursework in statistics.
• Around 2 years of relevant experience in data analytics or technical strategy roles.
• Strong technical proficiency in SQL and Python, with a deep understanding of data modeling.
• High degree of autonomy and self-management to own project scopes from definition through execution.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with advanced English fluency.
• Demand for online food delivery is growing really fast! In the last 5 years, just in the US, the overall market has expanded 10X from $10B to $100B, and could expand to $500bn- $1T by 2030.
