The Customer Event Operations Manager – Contracts, Payments & Reconciliation is responsible for leading the end-to-end execution and governance of financial, contractual, and compliance-related activities across customer and internal events in LATAM. This role plays a critical position within the Customer Events Experience organization, overseeing the Back Office capabilities, including HCP/HCO contracts, payments execution, expense reimbursements, and meeting card reconciliation, ensuring compliance, financial integrity, and audit readiness at scale.
This role serves as a control tower for financial and compliance processes related to events, ensuring end-to-end governance, accuracy, and audit readiness, while partnering closely with Front Office teams to enable seamless event execution. Additionally, this role leads a team of specialists and coordinates cross-functional stakeholders (Finance, Compliance, Legal) to deliver predictable, compliant, and efficient event operations across multiple countries. This role will be a flexible working model in Bogotá.
Lead contracts, payments, reimbursements, and reconciliation processes for all events
Ensure compliance with Medtronic policies, regulatory frameworks, and audit requirements
Manage HCP/HCO financial processes and transfer of value
Oversee meeting card reconciliation and financial closure of events
Provide operational leadership and performance management for the Back Office team
Drive standardization, accuracy, and process efficiency across LATAM
Act as a key interface between Events, Finance, Compliance, and Procurement
Ensure timely and accurate financial execution supporting event delivery at scale
Bachelor’s degree
Five to Seven years of experience in: Event operations, finance operations, or compliance-related roles
Fluent in English
Contracts management, Payments and financial operations, Expense reimbursement processes
Strong knowledge of: Compliance requirements (HCP/HCO interactions, transfer of value), Financial systems and reconciliation processes
Experience managing: Operational teams or supervisors
Strong: Attention to detail and risk management mindset, Stakeholder management and cross-functional coordination
Ability to operate in high-volume, complex, multi-country environments
Experience in MedTech, healthcare, or regulated industries; Experience with: Concur, Ariba, ONIT, or similar systems, Event management ecosystems (Cvent, Workfront); Knowledge of: LATAM regulatory environments and compliance requirements and Contracts management, Payments and financial operations, Expense reimbursement processes are advantageous
