Medtronic is seeking a Convention Attendance Coordinator based in Bogotá to manage attendee logistics for the Americas convention program. You will coordinate registration, hotel blocks, attendee communications, and data accuracy, while partnering with planners, vendors, and business stakeholders across countries and time zones.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree and at least 1 year of event coordination experience, plus fluent English and strong MS Office proficiency.

A Day in the Life The Convention Attendance Coordinator supports attendee logistics for Medtronic’s Americas convention program. Based in Bogotá, this role coordinates employee registration, hotel blocks, attendee communications, data accuracy, and post-convention follow-up while partnering with planners, vendors, and business stakeholders across countries and time zones.

Responsibilities may include the following:

• Coordinate employee registration and badge activities for assigned conventions
• Support approved badge-payment documentation, attendee-level records, and chargeback inputs where applicable
• Collect and maintain attendee information, arrival and departure dates, registration status, and hotel confirmations
• Support hotel-room-block administration and resolve attendee or vendor questions
• Prepare clear attendee communications, reminders, instructions, and confirmations
• Partner with convention planners and business-unit teams to track deadlines, open actions, and changes
• Support lead-retrieval readiness and help route post-convention lead information to the appropriate teams
• Work with hotels, associations, registration providers, and other approved vendors
• Maintain organized records and support documentation, reconciliation, reporting, and post-convention closeout
• Protect personal information and follow Medtronic policies, privacy requirements, Business Conduct Standards, and applicable travel and compliance requirements
• Help improve tools, templates, FAQs, and standard processes used by the Americas Convention Attendance team

Required knowledge:

• Bachelor's degree 1 year of experience in event coordination, convention operations, registration, hotel or travel administration, customer service, or a similar operational role
• Fluent English level
• Confidence working with employees, vendors, planners, and business partners across countries and time zones
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and collaboration tools such as Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams
• Experience working with Cvent is advantageous
• Experience supporting conventions, congresses, trade shows, exhibits, or other complex events is advantageous
