Medtronic Bogotá seeks a Business Analyst specialized in AI and analytics to bridge commercial stakeholders with data, AI engineering, and IT delivery partners. You will translate business needs into user stories and use cases for AI-powered data agents, supporting natural language interfaces and guided analytics.

You will collaborate across data, analytics, AI, and IT teams, define KPIs, ensure governance, and help drive adoption and continuous improvement of AI-enabled workflows.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Science, Business Analytics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Extensive experience as a Business Analyst, Product Analyst, Business Systems Analyst, Data Analyst, or similar role supporting enterprise technology and analytics solutions.
• Strong experience gathering requirements, developing user stories, defining acceptance criteria, and supporting Agile delivery.
• Solid understanding of data analytics concepts, including KPIs, reporting, data quality, governance, and business intelligence.
• Experience working with business stakeholders and translating business needs into data, analytics, and AI solutions.

• Gather, document, and translate business requirements into user stories, acceptance criteria, and solution specifications.
• Collaborate with Data, Analytics, AI, and IT teams to design, implement, and enhance AI data agent solutions.
• Define and prioritize use cases that enable users to access insights through conversational AI and natural language interactions.
• Support testing, validation, and optimization of AI-generated responses to ensure accuracy, relevance, and business alignment.
• Partner with data governance teams to establish trusted data sources, KPI definitions, semantic models, and business rules.
• Facilitate stakeholder workshops, user acceptance testing (UAT), training, and adoption activities.
• Monitor solution performance, user feedback, and adoption metrics to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Provide leadership and guidance on AI business analysis best practices, governance, and responsible AI adoption.

A Day in the Life

This role will serve as a bridge between commercial business stakeholders, data teams, AI engineering teams, analytics teams, and IT delivery partners. The ideal candidate will be able to understand business needs, translate them into clear requirements, define use cases for AI-powered data agents, and help deliver solutions that allow business users to interact with enterprise data using natural language, guided analytics, and conversational AI experiences.

Responsibilities may include the following:

• Partner with Commercial stakeholders to identify opportunities for AI-powered analytics and data solutions.
• Gather, document, and translate business requirements into user stories, acceptance criteria, and solution specifications.

Required Knowledge:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Science, Business Analytics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Extensive experience as a Business Analyst, Product Analyst, Business Systems Analyst, Data Analyst, or similar role supporting enterprise technology and analytics solutions.
• Strong experience gathering requirements, developing user stories, defining acceptance criteria, and supporting Agile delivery.
• Solid understanding of data analytics concepts, including KPIs, reporting, data quality, governance, and business intelligence.
• Experience working with business stakeholders and translating business needs into data, analytics, and AI solutions.
• Knowledge of Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), conversational analytics, and AI-enabled business workflows.
• Familiarity with AI platforms such as OpenAI, Claude, Gemini, Snowflake Cortex AI, Databricks Genie, or similar technologies.
• Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or other business intelligence and reporting platforms.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, facilitation, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and effectively collaborate across business, data, AI, and technology teams.
• Experience supporting AI agents, conversational analytics, natural language query tools, or self-service analytics platforms is advantageous.
• Familiarity with Snowflake, Databricks, SQL, semantic models, metadata management, and data governance frameworks is advantageous.
• Experience in commercial analytics domains such as sales, marketing, pricing, customer insights, or business performance management is advantageous.
• Experience working in regulated industries such as MedTech, healthcare, life sciences, or financial services is advantageous.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies and tools such as Jira, Confluence, or Azure DevOps is advantageous.
