Job summary

Backblaze is seeking a Sr. Technical Recruiter basing in LATAM to support hiring across LATAM and the U.S. during a high-growth period. This is a 6-month contract focusing on technical recruiting with flexibility for non-technical roles.

You will own full-cycle recruiting for engineering/infrastructure roles, partner with hiring managers to define requirements, and build pipelines using LinkedIn Recruiter and AI sourcing tools. Fluency in English is required.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a technical recruiter
• Strong sourcing background using LinkedIn Recruiter and AI sourcing tools
• Experience hiring across LATAM and/or the U.S.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced contract environment
• Ability to flex across technical and non-technical roles
• Strong partnership with hiring managers and stakeholders
• Excellent communication and candidate closing skills
• Fluent in English

Responsibilities

• Own full-cycle recruiting for primarily technical roles (engineering, infrastructure)
• Partner with hiring managers to define role requirements and strategy
• Source, engage, and attract top technical talent across LATAM and the U.S.
• Build and maintain candidate pipelines across regions
• Conduct initial screens for technical alignment and culture fit
• Deliver a high-quality candidate experience throughout the process
• Manage pipelines in Greenhouse with accurate tracking
• Collaborate with recruiters to support global hiring
• Provide light coordination to ensure smooth interview processes
• Use data to track pipeline health and improve strategies
