Sanofi Bogotá is seeking a Continuous Improvement Lead to drive process excellence within Finance Operations. The role partners with senior leaders to identify and deliver transformation opportunities across A2R and ContOps, promoting Lean methodologies and digital solutions for end-to-end optimization.

The ideal candidate brings 5–8 years in finance transformation, strong leadership, and advanced English to influence stakeholders and ensure measurable business value.

Formación

  • 5–8 years of experience in Finance, Shared Services, or related transformation roles.
  • Experience leading process improvement, operational excellence, or transformation initiatives.
  • Advanced English level required and exposure to Finance leaders is preferred.

Job Title: Continuous Improvement Lead Grade: L2 Location: Bogotá

About the Job

Our Team The role is part of a high-performing Finance Operations and Transformation organization focused on driving process excellence, operational efficiency, and value realization across the Account-to-Report (A2R) and Controlling Operations (ContOps) landscape. As part of the Continuous Improvement network, the Continuous Improvement & Value Realization Lead will play a critical role in advancing Sanofi's transformation agenda by identifying, prioritizing, and implementing opportunities to simplify, standardize, harmonize, and optimize end-to-end Finance processes. This role collaborates closely with senior leaders, process owners, Finance Operations teams, and neighboring functions to deliver measurable business value, accelerate innovation, and strengthen alignment with the Sanofi Operating Model (SOM), Internal Controls, and strategic objectives. The position provides an excellent opportunity to influence global transformation initiatives, promote a culture of continuous improvement, and contribute to the evolution of Finance Operations into a best-in-class organization.

Main Responsibilities
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives across A2R and ContOps processes to enhance operational efficiency, service quality, and stakeholder experience.
  • Animate and actively participate in the Continuous Improvement network across Sanofi Business Services and Finance Operations.
  • Partner with senior leaders, process owners, and CI leads across hubs and functions to identify and execute transformation opportunities.
  • Promote Lean methodologies, digital solutions, and innovative technologies to improve end-to-end processes.
  • Collect pain points and improvement opportunities from delivery teams, business stakeholders, and neighboring functions.
  • Initiate and lead improvement projects to address process gaps and operational challenges.
  • Identify requirements for Core Model process, system, and application enhancements.
  • Define rollout strategies, implementation approaches, and change management plans for process improvements.
  • Solve complex operational issues to simplify, standardize, harmonize, and optimize business processes.
  • Monitor, analyze, and communicate KPI performance trends and operational metrics.
  • Develop and execute value realization strategies aligned with Sanofi business objectives.
  • Establish and monitor performance indicators and value metrics to measure project benefits and business impact.
  • Lead and facilitate process improvement workshops, root cause analyses, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Coach teams on Continuous Improvement methodologies, tools, and best practices.
  • Promote a Continuous Improvement mindset and culture across Finance Operations teams.
  • Manage operational feedback collection through surveys and user experience assessments.
  • Research industry benchmarks and best practices to identify enhancement opportunities.
  • Support senior leaders and process owners in planning, executing, and evaluating value and improvement projects.
  • Collaborate with business units and neighboring functions to continuously improve service delivery, reporting quality, accuracy, and closing timelines.
  • Ensure alignment of A2R and ContOps processes with the Sanofi Operating Model (SOM) and Internal Control requirements.
  • Support Finance transformation initiatives and strategic projects as required.
About You
Experience
  • 5-8 years of experience in Finance, Shared Services, Global Business Services, Continuous Improvement, Transformation, or related support functions.
  • Experience leading process improvement, operational excellence, or transformation initiatives required.
  • Exposure to Finance leaders and project leadership environments preferred.
Soft Skills
  • Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management capabilities.
  • Proven ability to influence and engage diverse and senior stakeholders.
  • Highly collaborative, customer-oriented, proactive, and results-focused.
  • Strong facilitation, coaching, and change management skills.
  • Ability to work independently under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and deliver against strict deadlines.

Technical Skills
  • Strong understanding of Finance processes, especially Account-to-Report (A2R) and Controlling Operations.
  • Knowledge of Continuous Improvement methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, Agile, or Design Thinking is highly desirable.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with experience using KPIs and performance metrics to drive decision-making.
  • Experience with process mapping, value realization frameworks, and operational excellence tools.
  • Knowledge of SOX controls and Internal Control environments required.
Education
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Certifications in Lean, Six Sigma, Agile, or Project Management are a plus.
Systems
  • Experience with SAP and BlackLine preferred.
Languages
  • Advanced English level required.
  • Additional languages are considered an advantage.
