Job summary

GLT Logistics seeks a Compliance Specialist to review contracts and claims documentation and support legal decision-making across our operations with accuracy and efficiency.

The ideal candidate has a law degree or completed law coursework, 1–2 years in legal practice or claims, advanced English, knowledge of U.S. regulations, and strong organization and communication skills, with remote work flexibility.

Qualifications

• Professional degree in Law, or completion of all academic coursework in Law.
• 1–2 years of experience in legal practice, legal back-office, or claims management preferred.
• Advanced English proficiency; legal English is a plus.
• Knowledge of U.S. regulations and logistics is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review and analyze documentation related to claims, identifying missing information and key details.
• Support the Claims Committee by presenting information about each case.
• Review contracts before submission to the Legal Affairs Manager for final approval.
• Provide back-office legal support to facilitate review and management of contracts and claims.
• Escalate situations beyond the role's scope to the Legal Affairs area.
• Maintain accurate and organized documentation to support legal decision-making.

As a Compliance Specialist, you will encounter exciting challenges in this role:

• Review and analyze documentation related to claims, identifying missing information, relevant facts, and key details to provide clear context for each case.
• Support the Claims Committee by presenting relevant information about each case, including cargo value, customer type, and recurrence of claims.
• Review contracts before submitting them to the Legal Affairs Manager, ensuring the information is complete and properly prepared for final approval.
• Provide back-office legal support to facilitate the review and management of contracts and claims.
• Escalate situations that exceed the scope of the role to the Legal Affairs area, ensuring appropriate handling of complex cases or those involving greater legal exposure.
• Maintain accurate and organized documentation to support legal decision-making and claims management.

To be outstanding in this role, the following factors will contribute to your success:

• Professional degree in Law, or completion of all academic coursework in Law.
• 1 to 2 years of experience in legal practice, legal back-office, or claims management is preferred.
• Advanced English proficiency; legal English is a plus.
