Zusammenfassung

agencywithin is seeking an experienced Contador Público to own the Colombian accounting and tax compliance for our local entity and to support accounting across US entities. Reporting to the Accounting Supervisor, this hands-on role covers full NIIF-based close, payroll, and intercompany activity.

You will collaborate with the Colombia-based Junior Accountant, manage DIAN calendar, IVA, retención, and declaración de renta, and ensure audit-ready records.

Qualifikationen

• Must have full DIAN calendar end-to-end: IVA, retención, renta, exógena.
• Experience closing multiple entities in the same month and maintaining intercompany alignment.
• Hands-on accounts receivable ownership, including collections and close-side AR tasks.

Aufgaben

• Own Colombian statutory accounting and tax compliance (NIIF in Colombia, Decreto 2420 de 2015) through monthly and annual financial statements.
• Manage DIAN calendar and cross-border requirements with US parent.
• Coordinate payroll compliance: PILA, seguridad social, and parafiscales, and related filings.
• Support US entity accounting: monthly closes, fixed assets, depreciation, intercompany balances.
• Prepare month-end and year-end entries, reconciliations, and audit-ready documentation.
• Collaborate with Junior Accountant on AP and cover for each other as needed.
• Develop ad hoc schedules and analysis for the Accounting Supervisor and Head of Finance, often in English.
