Job summary

WSP is seeking a Civil Engineer – Renewables to join a multidisciplinary team. You will support planning, design, analysis, and execution of renewable energy projects including wind, solar, and BESS throughout the project lifecycle.

The ideal candidate will have 6 to 9 years of civil engineering experience with exposure to renewable energy and major infrastructure. Advanced English and French language proficiency is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related field.
• Master's degree in civil engineering or related field is an asset.
• Professional Engineer designation (P.Eng.) or eligibility to obtain registration is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform civil engineering design and analysis for renewable energy projects (wind, solar, BESS).
• Develop site grading, drainage, stormwater management, erosion control, and access road designs.
• Support design of foundations, platforms, hardstands, collector systems, and site infrastructure.
• Prepare engineering calculations, technical reports, drawings, specifications, and construction documentation.
• Coordinate site investigations and review geotechnical/hydrological data.
