American Health Packaging in Bogota, Colombia, is seeking a Billing Specialist to support billing operations, ensure timely and accurate billing, and comply with country calendars.

You will review customer rate sheets, process billing in core systems (TMS, Alteryx, Global Quoting Engine), resolve discrepancies, and collaborate with AR, Sales, and Customer Service, with a 48-hour response target.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Sales, Marketing, CS or similar field.
• 3 years of direct experience in Pricing, Billing, AP/AR, Invoicing or Accounting.
• Excellent English (C1) and strong Excel skills; ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Responsabilidades

• Execute billing activities accurately within established SLAs.
• Review and validate customer rate sheets for proper charges.
• Perform billing in core systems including TMS, Alteryx, and Global Quoting Engine.
• Follow up on billing exceptions and transmission issues to ensure resolution.
• Coordinate with Accounts Receivable, Sales and Customer Service on billing concerns; respond within 48 hours.

Apply today!# **Job Details****Summary of role:**Responsible for supporting billing operations, ensuring timely and accurate execution of the billing process, compliance with country calendars, and proper follow-up of billing-related activities.**Responsabilities:*** Execute billing activities accurately and within established service level timelines.* Review and validate customer financial rate sheets to ensure all applicable charges are accurate and properly processed, including manual billing where necessary.* Perform billing activities within core systems and platforms, including TMS and other applicable financial or operational tools (Alteryx and Global Quoting Engine).* Monitor and follow up on transmission failures, reconciliation issues, and other open billing exceptions to ensure timely resolution.* Respond to country requirements, billing emails, Intercompany memos and audit-related requests in a timely manner.* Maintain and update process documentation, billing procedures, and country-specific manuals to ensure current and accurate guidance.* Support compliance with internal controls, regional billing procedures and operational standards.* Manage incoming requests from Accounts Receivable, Sales, and Customer Service related to customer billing concerns, disputes, and inquiries, ensuring response and resolution within 48 hours.* Review, triage, and respond to non-billable requests in a timely and accurate manner.* Learn all billing related systems, Billing Process and Tariffs/Pricing.* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve billing discrepancies and support efficient end-to-end billing operations.* Flexibility in preparing and complying to AdHoc reports.**Education:*** Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Sales, Marketing, Computer Sciences, or similar fields..**Work Experience:*** Direct experience in Pricing, Billing, AP/AR, Invoicing, or Accounting.* Experience working with customer contracts, pricing structures, rate cards, or billing systems preferred.* Requires 3 years of direct related experience.**Skills and Knowledge*** Excellent English proficiency (written and oral), C1 minimum.* Proficiency in Microsoft Word and **Excel,** formulas, data tables, pivot tables, and related analytical functions.* Strong communication skills (oral and written).* Experience working with rate cards, pricing, or customer contracts is highly desirable.* Ability to work well under pressure and consistently meet deadlines.* Ability to work independently, self-starter, proactive, and energetic.* Strong attention to detail and accuracy.* Familiarity with global geography, trade lanes, and airport codes.* SAP knowledge preferred.* Ability to handle stressful situations professionally as they arise.* Strong organizational and time-management skills.
