Job summary

INFUSE is seeking a detail-oriented B2B proofreader to join our team. This role edits and proofreads long-form and short-form content to ensure accuracy, polish, and alignment with client goals. The right candidate communicates well with writers and internal teams to keep projects moving forward.

You will collaborate across departments to maintain high-quality content, ensuring consistency with client style guides and editorial standards while meeting deadlines and delivering polished materials.

Qualifications

• Excellent English writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
• Strong knowledge of grammar, punctuation, syntax, style, and usage.
• Experience editing long-form and short-form content.
• 1+ year of proofreading or editing experience.
• 1+ year of writing experience.
• B2B content experience preferred.
• Familiarity with style guides and brand voice requirements.
• Strong attention to detail and collaborative skills.
• Able to work EST hours.

Responsibilities

• Edit and proofread B2B content for grammar, spelling, punctuation, syntax, usage, clarity, consistency, and brand voice.
• Ensure content aligns with client style guides, editorial standards, messaging, and project requirements.
• Provide clear, constructive feedback to writers.
• Cross-check references, claims, data, and source material for accuracy.
• Identify factual inconsistencies, unsupported statements, and potential plagiarism.
• Collaborate with writers, designers, and other departments.
• Review and occasionally revise internal documents and client-facing materials.
• Manage multiple assignments while meeting deadlines.
• Maintain a high standard of quality across all reviewed content.
