GEA is seeking an automation engineer to advance manufacturing projects in the beverage, dairy, or food industries in Bogotá. You will design, program, and commission PLC and HMI/SCADA systems, develop control architectures, and support project execution with ISA standards.
Requirements include an engineering degree (Industrial/Electrical/Automation/Mechatronics), a Master’s in Automation, 5+ years of experience, and English at B2 level.
Formación
- Degree in engineering (Industrial, Electrical, Automation, Mechatronics) and Master’s in Automation technologies.
- 5+ years as automation engineer in process projects.
- English proficiency (B2) and knowledge of industrial protocols.
Responsabilidades
- Know manufacturing processes in beverage, dairy, or food industry.
- PLC programming of process and CIP sequences; HMI/SCADA programming.
- Dimensioning, software and hardware list for automation architecture.
- Develop automation engineering using ISA standards; support project execution.
- Setup and commissioning of VFDs, networks, and control systems.
- Document FAT, SAT, and product testing procedures.
