GEA is seeking an Automation Engineer to lead pre-engineering for automation development across beverage, dairy and food projects. You will design control sequences, model IO networks, and perform PLC/HMI/SCADA programming plus FAT, dry and wet commissioning and product testing.

Requirements include a engineering degree (Industrial/Electrical/Automation/Mechatronics) and a Master in Automation, plus 5+ years' experience and English at B2 level. Siemens/Schneider/Rockwell experience is preferred.

• 5+ years of experience as an automation engineer.
• Experience in process project commissioning.

Responsabilidades

• Setup and commissioning of VFDs and industrial networks.
• FAT procedures and project commissioning activities.
• Documentation and testing of products and processes.

Responsibilities / Tasks

• Know manufacturing processes in the beverage or dairy or food industry.
• CIP Know-how
• Hygienic design know-how.
• Generate pre-engineering of automation development.
  • Scheduler of automation activities
  • Model control sequences according to P&IDs
  • List of entities, equipment controls, control modules and devices
  • Designed FDS.
• Dimensioning, software and hardware list generation for automation architecture.
• Develop automation engineering, using ISA Standards.
• Review existing process engineering and make necessary changes to support project execution when necessary.
• PLC programming of process and CIP sequences.
• HMI and SCADA programming.
• Setup different Industrial protocol networks
• Setup IO periphery
• Setup and commissioning VFDs

Your Profile / Qualifications

• Degree in engineering career (Industrial, Electrical, Automation, Mechatronics)
• Master’s degree in Automation technologies.
• Know manufacturing processes. (beverage, dairy, Liquid).
• English proficiency (B2).
• (Valuable) Formal training in Project Management.
• 5+ years of experience working as an automation engineer.
• 5+ years of experience in a process projects commissioning
• Electricity, automation, control, and pneumatics.
