Job summary

Pharmbills LLC is seeking an Authorizations Representative to manage insurance authorization requests and maintain accurate patient records. This remote role supports U.S. healthcare providers from the Medellín metropolitan area, collaborating with admissions and internal teams to ensure timely approvals.

You will submit requests, track statuses, collect documentation, and follow up with providers. This position offers onboarding, ongoing training, and a professional international team

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience in healthcare administration, authorizations, medical billing, or customer support is a plus.
• Comfortable working with databases and administrative systems.

Responsibilities

• Submit and track insurance authorization requests.
• Follow up with insurance providers regarding pending approvals.
• Maintain accurate authorization and patient records.
• Review and collect required documentation from patients and clinicians.
