Responsibilities

• Applies accounting principles to analyze financial information and prepares internal and external financial reports.
• Maintains or oversees accounts and records in disbursements, expenses, tax payments and income.
• Compiles and analyzes financial information to record transactions, prepare reports, and review accuracy.
• Prepares balance sheet, profit and loss and cash flow statements, and consolidates financial statements.
• Designs or maintains accounting systems to ensure proper recognition of financial transactions.
• Ensures adherence to accounting policies, procedures and internal controls.
• May be responsible for month-end close.
• May support technical accounting for M&A activities.
• May oversee technical accounting research for complex transactions and new standards.
