ScotiaGBS Colombia del grupo Scotiabank is seeking an Analyst, Business Intelligence to design KPIs, build dashboards, and deliver actionable insights. You will collaborate with process owners and guide reporting standards across teams to drive improvements.

The role emphasizes data visualization excellence, timely reporting, and analysis to support management decisions. 1–2 years of experience and strong SQL/Python skills are desired.

Formación

• 1–2 years of experience with large, complex datasets.
• Experience with data analytics, BI, reporting, or data engineering teams.
• Advanced proficiency in SQL and Python; experience with Power BI, MS Excel, VBA, Access, and MS Office.
• Familiarity with AML is a plus.
• Strong analytical reasoning with limited data insight.

What will you do?

• Collaborate with process owners to design and define KPIs and performance metrics (KPI/SLA).
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports aligned with business needs, providing insights and recommendations to the Manager.
• Guide best practices in data visualization and reporting to ensure clarity, consistency, and impact.
• Lead the development of high-impact dashboards by gathering requirements, identifying gaps, and translating needs into detailed project plans.
• Monitor the consistent application of AOC activities in alignment with policy requirements and operational standards.
• Prepare weekly and monthly management briefings and productivity/risk reports to support decision-making and SLA compliance.
• Conduct statistical analysis of data trends to identify opportunities for process improvement and support strategic initiatives.

What do you need?

• University degree in Business, Data Analytics, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• 1-2 years of experience proven experience working with large, complex datasets from multiple sources to support analytical and reporting processes.
• Demonstrated experience working with data analytics, business intelligence, reporting, or data engineering teams to deliver recurring reports, dashboards, automation initiatives, or analytical projects.
• Advanced analytical skills with the ability to draw logical conclusions, even with limited data.
• Advanced proficiency in SQL and Python is required, including experience querying, transforming, validating, and analyzing large datasets; experience with Power BI, MS Excel, VBA, Microsoft Access, and the MS Office suite is also required. Familiarity with R Studio is preferred.
• Knowledge or experience with AML is a preference.
