We seek a detail-oriented analyst with experience in Agile or hybrid delivery, strong data skills, and the ability to translate requirements into actionable insights for stakeholders across banking domains.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, Data Analytics, Computer Science, or related field.
• A master's degree is considered an asset.

Responsabilidades

• Identify and document data sources, flows, and gaps relevant to business initiatives.
• Collaborate with data engineering teams to understand infrastructure, schemas, and data lineage.
• Conduct stakeholder interviews to uncover analytical needs and use cases.
• Partner with SMEs across business lines to gather functional requirements.
• Facilitate cross-functional workshops to align goals and translate needs into technical specs.
• Analyze structured and unstructured data to derive insights and support decision-making.
• Build and maintain dashboards, scorecards, and ad hoc reports to track KPIs.
• Validate data accuracy and integrity across systems and reports.
• Assess current-state processes and recommend data-driven improvements.
• Support automated reporting workflows and streamlined intake models.
• Track outcomes and generate value-based reporting for stakeholders.

Purpose

Detail-oriented and business-driven Business Analyst with a strong background in data discovery, cross-functional collaboration, and analytical reporting. Proven ability to bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions by translating complex requirements into actionable insights. Skilled in identifying data-driven opportunities, enhancing business processes, and enabling informed decision-making across organizational levels.

Experienced in working with SMEs, data engineers, and stakeholders across diverse domains, with a solid foundation in data analytics, process optimization, and modern reporting tools. Adept at managing end-to-end analysis workflows in Agile and hybrid environments, with a strong focus on accuracy, clarity, and delivery impact.

Accountabilities

Data Discovery

• Identify and document data sources, flows, and gaps relevant to business initiatives.
• Collaborate with data engineering teams to understand infrastructure, schemas, and data lineage.
• Conduct stakeholder interviews to uncover analytical needs and use cases.

SME Collaboration

• Partner with subject matter experts (SMEs) across business lines to gather functional requirements.
• Facilitate cross-functional workshops to ensure shared understanding and alignment of goals.
• Translate business needs into clear, actionable technical specifications.

Data Analysis & Reporting

• Analyze structured and unstructured data to derive insights and support decision-making.
• Build and maintain dashboards, scorecards, and ad hoc reports to track KPIs and business performance.
• Validate data accuracy and integrity across systems and reports.

Process Improvement

• Assess current-state business processes and recommend improvements leveraging data insights.
• Support the development of automated reporting workflows and streamlined intake models.
• Track process enhancement outcomes and generate value-based reporting for stakeholders.

Education / Experience / Other Information

Education

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, Data Analytics, Computer Science, or related field.
• A master's degree is considered an asset.

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience as a Business Analyst in data-centric or analytics-driven environments.
• Prior experience working with cross-functional teams in Agile or hybrid delivery models.
• Exposure to financial services, banking, or regulated industries preferred.

Technical Skills

• Proven experience in Excel, SQL, and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Looker).
• Familiarity with data mapping, process modeling (BPMN, Visio), and documentation tools (Confluence, JIRA).
• Understanding data governance, metadata, and quality frameworks.

Soft Skills

• Strong leadership, stakeholder communication, and problem-solving abilities. Candidates must demonstrate adaptability and a growth mindset

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification in Business Analysis (CBAP, CCBA, PMI-PBA, or similar).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., GCP, Azure, AWS) and data migration projects.
• Knowledge of data modeling concepts or experience in data platform migrations.

Working Conditions

• Work in a standard office-based environment, with standard hours.
