ScotiaGBS in Bogota, Colombia, seeks an Analyst, Business Control to support Third-Party Risk Management and Procurement lifecycle operations. You will guide Contract Owners through onboarding, renewals, and DDQ processes, ensuring data integrity and SLA adherence.

Responsibilities include coordinating with Sourcing, Legal, and Control Functions, completing risk assessments, and driving process improvements. Fluency in English and Spanish is required, with a focus on accuracy and teamwork.

Formación

  • College Diploma or University Degree in related field is required.
  • 3+ years of business administration, business analysis, operations experience and/or business help desk.
  • Experience with procurement and third-party risk management processes.
  • Experience inputting and completing third-party risk assessments.
  • Experience with platforms such as Coupa and Icertis.
  • Clear and thoughtful communicator.
  • Attention to detail and consistency.
  • Detail oriented, analytical skills and data collection and manipulation experience.

Responsabilidades

  • Provide hands-on guidance to Contract Owners across onboarding, renewals, and reassessments.
  • Manage supplier onboarding activities including Procurement Intake, DDQ completion, and payment setup, ensuring data quality.
  • Manage completion of TPRM questionnaires and follow up with stakeholders for information.
  • Monitor third-party management lifecycle workflows to ensure timely progression and SLA adherence.
  • Track and report on onboarding SLAs, ensuring timely completion of each phase.
  • Facilitate collaboration between Contract Owners and internal teams (Sourcing, Control Functions, TPRM, Legal).
  • Collaborate with Global Procurement Services and Third-Party Risk Management to facilitate contract execution and compliance.
  • Identify delays or bottlenecks and escalate to appropriate channels for resolution.
  • Escalate delays or issues to relevant stakeholders and follow through to resolution.
  • Ensure all activities align with Procurement and Third-Party Risk Management policies and procedures.
  • Review reporting and perform Quality Assurance activities as required.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and audit trails for onboarding and renewal activities.
  • Gather data and prepare administration activities for the assigned portfolio.
  • Provide process training and guidance to Contract Owners as needed.

Purpose

The Analyst, Business Control is dedicated to assisting Contract Owners throughout the Third-Party Management Lifecycle – including Procurement and Third-Party Risk Management processes. This role provides end-to-end guidance through various activities such as Procurement Intake, Due Diligence Questionnaires (DDQ), payment setup – proactively managing service level agreements (SLAs) and reporting oversight. It also facilitates coordination with key stakeholders, including Sourcing, Control Functions, TPRM and Legal, while ensuring full compliance with all relevant Procurement and Third-Party Risk Management policies and procedures.

Accountabilities
  • Provide hands-on guidance to Contract Owners across onboarding, renewals, and reassessments.
  • Manage supplier onboarding activities including Procurement Intake, DDQ completion, and payment setup, ensuring data quality.
  • Manage completion of TPRM questionnaires, such as providing clarification of questions/responses, completing follow-up with stakeholders for information, reviewing inputs of the questionnaires prior to moving to next stage.
  • Monitor third-party management lifecycle workflows to ensure timely progression and SLA adherence.
  • Track and report on onboarding SLAs, ensuring timely completion of each phase.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Facilitate collaboration between Contract Owners and internal teams (e.g., Sourcing, Control Functions, TPRM, Legal etc.).
  • Collaborate as appropriate with Global Procurement Services (GPS), Third-Party Risk Management, and Control Function groups to facilitate contract execution and compliance.
  • Identify delays or bottlenecks and escrow to appropriate channels for resolution.
  • Escalate delays or issues to relevant stakeholders and follow through to resolution.
  • Ensure all activities align with Procurement and Third-Party Risk Management policies and procedures.
  • Review reporting and perform Quality Assurance activities as required.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and audit trails for all onboarding and renewal activities.
  • Gather data and prepare/complete administration activities for the assigned portfolio as needed.
  • Provide process training and guidance to Contract Owners as needed.
  • Supports BNS goals to reduce supplier base by referring to preferred suppliers, existing suppliers and other opportunities.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the Procurement Control Tower.
  • Understand how the Bank’s risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions.
  • Contribute to a customer focused culture throughout their team to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems and knowledge.

Education / Experience
  • College Diploma or University Degree in related field
