Global Technology Services is seeking a Senior AI Integration Engineer to design and build backend services that connect enterprise data, documents, APIs, and AI capabilities into secure, scalable applications.

You will work with AWS serverless architectures, TypeScript, and orchestration services like Lambda, Step Functions, Bedrock, and Textract to create reliable enterprise workflows powered by LLMs and retrieval systems.

Formación

• Strong professional experience with TypeScript and Node.js backend development.
• Hands-on experience building solutions on AWS, particularly serverless architectures.
• Strong experience with AWS Lambda and serverless microservice patterns.
• Experience designing and implementing workflows with AWS Step Functions or comparable orchestration technologies.
• Strong understanding of API design, REST APIs, schemas, data contracts, and integration patterns.
• Experience building or integrating LLM-powered applications.
• Practical experience with RAG, retrieval systems, enterprise search, or knowledge-based AI applications.
• Understanding of document AI, document ingestion, extraction, classification, and processing workflows.
• Experience working with structured outputs from LLMs and techniques such as confidence scoring, citations, evaluation, and human-in-the-loop review.
• Strong understanding of authentication, authorization, and permission-aware data retrieval.
• Experience integrating with external APIs, enterprise platforms, or document repositories.
• Strong software engineering fundamentals, including testing, debugging, version control, observability, and production support.
• Experience with Amazon Bedrock and foundation model integrations.
• Experience with Amazon Textract or similar document intelligence platforms.
• Familiarity with knowledge graphs and graph-based retrieval patterns.
• Experience with vector databases, embeddings, semantic search, hybrid search, and reranking.
• Experience with event-driven architectures and asynchronous processing.
• Familiarity with infrastructure as code and AWS deployment automation.
• Experience implementing AI evaluation frameworks and monitoring LLM application quality.

What you will be doing:

We are looking for an AI Integration Engineer to design and build backend services that connect enterprise data, documents, APIs, and AI capabilities into secure, scalable applications.

This role sits at the intersection of AWS serverless engineering, API integration, enterprise search, document intelligence, and generative AI. The ideal candidate is a strong software engineer who understands how to turn LLM and retrieval capabilities into reliable enterprise workflows—not necessarily an AI researcher.

You will work primarily with AWS and TypeScript, building serverless microservices and AI-powered workflows using services such as AWS Lambda, Step Functions, Bedrock, and Textract.

• Experience with workflow automation platforms such as n8n is a plus, but not required.
