Job summary

SOLVO S.A.S in Medellín, Colombia, is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to join our growing accounting team. This hybrid role requires handling invoices, vendor payments, and precise recordkeeping, with 4 days on-site and 1 day remote.

The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year in Accounts Payable, strong Excel skills, ERP experience, and excellent communication. Fluency in English is preferred for international collaboration within our company.

Qualifications

• Advanced English language skill (C1 preferred).
• At least 1 year of Accounts Payable experience.
• High School Diploma required; Associate Degree in Accounting preferred.
• Experience processing invoices and vendor payments.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
• Experience with ERP systems.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and recordkeeping accuracy.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Review and code invoices to the appropriate General Ledger accounts.
• Obtain required approvals and ensure proper documentation.
• Prepare and process weekly vendor payments.
• Respond to vendor and internal inquiries regarding payments and account balances.
• Investigate and resolve payment discrepancies.
• Maintain and update vendor records and supporting documentation.
• Reconcile Accounts Payable balances and resolve outstanding issues.
• Support accounting operations while ensuring compliance and accuracy.

Schedule: Monday to Friday | 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM CST

Key Requirements
