Job summary

EXL in Bogotá is seeking a bilingual Accounts Payable Analyst (English B2+) to join our Finance & Accounting team. The role focuses on processing invoices, managing payment cycles, and ensuring tax compliance with strong attention to controls.

You will review invoices, monitor aging, support month-end closings, and generate AP reports. Fluency in English (B2+) is required and experience with SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite is preferred.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of Accounts Payable experience (Must have).
• Graduate or postgraduate degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• Strong understanding of AP processes, workflows, and controls.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process invoices and manage payment cycles efficiently.
• Review invoice accuracy, coding, approvals, and tax compliance.
• Monitor AP aging and ensure timely vendor payments.
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Prepare AP reports, dashboards, and management information reports (MIS).
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and audit requirements.

Requirements:

• 2-3 years of Accounts Payable experience (Must have)
• Graduate or postgraduate degree in Finance, Accounting, or related fields.
• Strong understanding of AP processes, workflows, and controls.
• Experience working with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite.
• Strong analytical, reconciliation, and problem-solving skills.
• English proficiency at B2+ level or higher.
