TMF Group is seeking an Accounting Senior Assistant to join our Bogotá team. You will work with local and international teams on accounting, tax, and financial reporting, ensuring accuracy and compliance across processes.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Accounting and at least 4 years of accounting/tax experience, with ERP familiarity (Oracle/SAP/Dynamics) and strong Excel skills.

Responsabilidades

• Review the completeness and accuracy of accounting information from clients.
• Process accounting entries in ERP for AR, Sales, Inventory, and Tax.
• Prepare tax working papers and schedules for calculations and filings.
• Submit basic tax returns and forms per local regulations.
• Support electronic accounting and statutory compliance for clients.
• Assist in maintaining clients' tax compliance status.
• Prepare reconciliations and balance analyses.
• Maintain organized accounting and tax documentation.
• Assist in financial statement preparation per local standards.
• Collaborate with junior team members and guide when needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and validate the completeness and accuracy of accounting information received from clients.
• Perform accounting processes in the ERP system, including Accounts Receivable, Sales, Inventory, and Tax entries.
• Prepare tax working papers and supporting schedules for tax calculations and filings.
• Complete and submit basic tax returns and forms in accordance with local regulations.
• Support clients' electronic accounting and statutory compliance requirements.
• Assist in maintaining clients’ positive tax compliance status.
• Prepare and analyze accounting reconciliations and account balances.
• Maintain organized accounting and tax documentation and records.
• Support the preparation of financial statements in accordance with local accounting standards.
• Collaborate with junior team members and provide guidance when required.

Key Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in accounting and tax-related positions.
• Solid understanding of local accounting regulations.
• Experience working with ERP systems such as Oracle, SAP, Dynamics, or similar platforms.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• English proficiency at B1-B2 level (written and verbal communication).
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
