Job summary

Expro in Bogotá seeks a qualified finance professional to manage the Finance process in line with group policy and local legislation and assist the organisation to determine and monitor its financial health.

The role involves ensuring timely financial transactions, supporting month-end close, preparing balance sheets and monthly reports, and maintaining data accuracy across systems. Strong SAP and MS Office skills with 4+ years in Finance are required.

Qualifications

• 4+ years practical experience within a Finance environment.
• Degree qualified in a recognised accounting qualification.
• Proficient in using SAP or a similar Finance package.
• Proficient in Microsoft office (Excel, Powerpoint and Word).

Responsibilities

• Ensure that all financial transactions are undertaken in a timely manner and compliant with policies and legislation.
• Assist in preparation of the month-end close to meet reporting deadlines.
• Prepare balance sheets and monthly reports including accruals, prepayments, and analysis for areas of concern.
• May be responsible for preparing VAT returns and reconciling work in progress accounts.
• Check data between systems to ensure accuracy and review discrepancies to achieve full compliance.
• Support debtor and cash management and forecasting activities.
• Keep audit records up to date and assist auditors as required.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and legislation and timing of actions.
• Produce management reports per timetable and ensure accuracy; investigate discrepancies with management.
• Liaise with internal and external departments to ensure finance processes and reporting are accurate.
