XML International is seeking an accounting professional to support the Accounting Manager in Colombia. The role involves preparing journal entries, analyses, and reconciliations, and assisting with monthly, quarterly, and year-end closes.

You will handle intercompany invoicing and balance sheet reconciliations while driving process improvements. The candidate should have excellent communication, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work independently under deadlines.

Responsabilidades

• Support the Accounting Manager as needed.
• Prepare journal entries, analyses, and reconciliations; assist close processes.
• Invoice intercompany transactions.
• Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
• Prepare and reconcile intercompany transactions and compile intercompany aging.
• Assist with year-end internal audit working papers.
• Continually improve processes to reduce manual efforts.
• Review and recommend modifications to accounting systems and procedures.

Requirements

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong mathematical and analytical skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel (pivot tables, graphs, data exchange between excel and financial systems)
• Must be able to work independently and effectively under tight deadlines and handle multiple projects with a commitment to high standards and excellence
• Strong organizational skills; exercise considerable sound judgment in setting priorities and
• Ability to identify problems and communicate with managers
