Job summary

Gallagher is seeking a motivated Health & Benefits Operations professional to support medical, dental, vision, life, disability, wellness, and voluntary benefits for clients, colleagues, carriers, and providers.

In this role you will assist with renewal work, maintain accurate client records, build strong carrier relationships, and contribute to process improvements, ensuring dependable service and clear communication.

Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor’s degree.
• 1–3 years of Health & Benefits experience.
• Supported Account Managers, Client Service Managers, Benefits Consultants, Brokers, or similar partners.
• Clear communication and trust with a wide range of people.
• Stay organized, manage priorities, and take ownership of your work.
• Enjoy solving problems and making thoughtful decisions.
• Work well independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Provide timely, accurate support across medical, dental, vision, life, disability, wellness, and voluntary benefits.
• Assist renewal work by organizing details, tracking next steps, and facilitating meetings.
• Be a trusted contact for Client Service Managers, Account Managers, and Benefits Consultants.
• Help resolve complex service issues with care, urgency, and follow-through.
• Keep client records and benefit information accurate and up to date.
• Build strong relationships with carriers, TPAs, vendors, and internal partners.
• Help improve processes to make work more consistent, efficient, and scalable.
• Share knowledge and support new team members to help others succeed.
• Contribute to a positive client experience through dependable service and clear communication.

About you

• You have an associate or bachelor’s degree.
• You bring 1 to 3 years of experience in Health & Benefits, Employee Benefits, Group Benefits, or Benefits Administration.
• You have supported Account Managers, Client Service Managers, Benefits Consultants, Brokers, or similar partners.
• You communicate clearly and build trust with a wide range of people.
• You stay organized, manage priorities well, and take ownership of your work.
• You enjoy solving problems and making thoughtful decisions.
• You work well both independently and as part of a team.
• You care about service, accuracy, and helping others.
