Opella Healthcare Group is seeking an A2R GBS Closing and Reporting Accountant to join the Global Business Services Finance team. You will support monthly closing and reporting across six Latin American countries, building accounting expertise while engaging with regional operations and global stakeholders.

You will work with SAP, implement IFRS, and participate in balance sheet and P&L reconciliations, capitalization and depreciation of fixed assets, and related reporting.

Formación

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or a related field.
• Experience supporting accounting, financial reporting, closing processes or general ledger activities.
• Good understanding of accounting principles and financial controls.
• Ability to analyse information, solve problems and deliver accurate work within deadlines.
• Comfortable working in a collaborative environment and supporting multiple priorities.
• Experience with SAP, shared services environments, inventory accounting, fixed assets or IFRS is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare and post accounting entries, adjustments and reconciliations while ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Assist with inventory accounting activities, including standard cost updates and related reporting processes.
• Support fixed asset accounting activities such as capitalization, depreciation and month-end reviews.
• Perform balance sheet and profit and loss reconciliations and contribute to financial analysis and reporting.
• Work with accounting systems to resolve process issues, follow up on requests and support corrective actions.
• Collaborate with colleagues across different countries and functions to ensure efficient and consistent accounting operations.

Experience supporting accounting, financial reporting, closing processes or general ledger activities. Good understanding of accounting principles and financial controls. Ability to analyse information, solve problems and deliver accurate work within deadlines. Comfortable working in a collaborative environment and supporting multiple priorities. English proficiency at an intermediate to upper-intermediate level (approximately B2) to participate in meetings and communicate with international stakeholders.
