Job summary

Formulated Automation is seeking a detail-oriented Social Media & Marketing Assistant to support its marketing operations. You will work with the Marketing Manager to schedule posts across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook and LinkedIn, edit short-form videos, write captions, and keep content calendars on track.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience publishing content, basic video editing with captions, fluent English, Canva proficiency, and comfort using AI tools.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience publishing and scheduling social media content.
• Basic short-form video editing with captions.
• Strong written and spoken English for captions, emails, and scripts.
• Proficiency in Canva for quick graphics.
• Comfort using AI tools in day-to-day content workflows.
• Strong organizational skills and reliability in managing deadlines and shared task boards.
• Availability during U.S. Eastern Time business hours.

Responsibilities

• Publish and schedule posts across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, and LinkedIn.
• Confirm live posts with correct captions, formats, and links.
• Monitor comments and messages and route inquiries to the appropriate team members.
• Keep the content calendar and shared task board up to date.
• Track deadlines and flag delays early; inform the Marketing Manager.
• Edit short-form video clips with captions for Reels, TikTok and Shorts.
• Write captions, short emails, and simple scripts.
• Create quick graphics in Canva using brand templates.
• Use AI tools to streamline captioning, resizing and repurposing content.
• Submit content involving legal matters for attorney review before publication.
• Assist with basic Meta and Google Ads tasks as needed.
