Formulated Automation is seeking a detail-oriented Social Media & Marketing Assistant to support our marketing operations. You will work with the Marketing Manager to keep social media activities running smoothly, schedule content, edit videos with captions, craft captions, and manage content calendars and deadlines.

The ideal candidate is proactive, creative, and highly organized, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and ensure content across platforms remains on-brand and timely.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience publishing and scheduling social media content for a brand, business, or agency.
• Basic short-form video editing with captions.
• Strong written and spoken English for captions, emails, and scripts.
• Proficiency in Canva for quick graphics.
• Comfort using AI tools in day-to-day content workflows.
• Strong organizational skills and reliability in managing deadlines and shared task boards.
• Availability during U.S. Eastern Time business hours.

Responsibilities

• Publish and schedule posts across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, and LinkedIn.
• Confirm each post goes live with the correct caption, format, and links.
• Monitor comments and messages, routing legal matters to the appropriate team (do not respond directly).
• Keep the content calendar and shared task board up to date.
• Track deadlines and flag delays early; inform the Marketing Manager of scheduled content and overdue items.
• Edit short-form video clips for reels/TikTok/YouTube Shorts, including captions.
• Write captions, brief emails, and simple scripts.
• Create quick Canva graphics using brand templates.
• Use AI tools to streamline captioning, resizing, and content repurposing.
• Organize raw footage, assets, and files in shared folders.
• Assist with ad creative and basic tasks for Meta and Google Ads campaigns.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Track deadlines for every piece of content and flag potential delays early.Keep the Marketing Manager informed about scheduled content, overdue tasks, and items awaiting review.
• Content Creation Support
• Edit short-form video clips for Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts, including adding captions.
• Write captions, short email copy, and simple scripts.
• Create quick graphics in Canva using established brand templates.
• Use AI tools to streamline captioning, resizing, and content repurposing.
• Review & Team Support
• Submit any content involving legal matters for attorney review before publication.
• Organize raw footage, assets, and files in shared folders.
• Assist with ad creative and basic tasks related to Meta and Google Ads campaigns as needed.

Required Qualifications
