Job summary

Redtree Engineering is seeking an experienced Senior Structural Engineer to lead structural analysis, design, and development for industrial facilities, power generation projects, energy infrastructure, and mining operations. We are seeking engineers with 8+ years of hands-on structural design and calculation experience, with a strong recent track record in heavy-industry environments.

This role emphasizes hands-on engineering and technical leadership, not administration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (Structural emphasis) or Structural Engineering.
• 8+ years of structural engineering experience in industrial, energy, mining, or power generation environments.
• Hands-on design and calculation experience; not primarily administrative.
• Experience with structural steel, pipe racks, reinforced concrete, foundations, and equipment supports.
• Experience with major structural analysis tools and coordination with Revit.

Responsibilities

• Lead structural analysis and design of steel, reinforced concrete, foundation, and support structures for industrial and energy facilities.
• Own structural calculations, design packages, engineering reports, specifications, and construction documents.
• Design structures supporting equipment and processes including turbine and boiler foundations and pipe racks.
• Apply codes and client requirements; review drawings and calculations prepared by others.
• Coordinate with civil, mechanical, electrical, controls, and project teams; work with Revit modelers.
• Perform field investigations, site visits, and construction support as required.
• Lead equipment foundation design and infrastructure improvement projects.
• Support project scoping, budgeting, scheduling, and engineering estimates.
