Job summary

Olympus is seeking an experienced Repair Operations leader in Santiago, Chile. The role oversees repair leaders, capacity planning, budgets, and service quality to ensure high standards for patient care.

You will coordinate with HR, procurement, and customers, driving engagement and performance across distributors and repair teams. Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's in Engineering (MBA preferred) with at least 10 years in the medical device field, strong English and native Spanish, and

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor's degree in Engineering; MBA in industrial/production management is a plus.
• Minimum of 10 years related work experience.
• English – good writing and speaking; Spanish – native level writing and speaking.

Responsibilities

• Lead repair leaders to follow Olympus Global Guidelines and performance requirements.
• Guide the repair team to improve engagement, performance, and reduce turnover.
• Develop capacity plans and coordinate with HR and General Manager to align demand and capacity.
• Prepare budgets for repair sites to meet service contracts and SLAs.
• Support Customer Service in repair quotes with root cause details and transparency.
• Manage Skill Map and training planning to ensure required skills per activity.
• Oversee Service Bulletins, technical updates, and FCAs with the repair team.
• Support procurement in validating new vendors and monitor jigs/tools sent for repair/calibration.
• Assist Operations in parts planning and procedures to meet global/regional targets.
• Manage repair distributors with guides and reviews to meet Global Olympus guidelines.
