Insight Global's client is a global financial technology organization hiring a Senior QA Automation Engineer to own testing strategy, build scalable automation, and raise release confidence across a cloud-based platform.

The role demands hands-on leadership, mentoring of QA engineers, collaboration with engineering, product, and compliance, and the use of AI-assisted tooling to improve quality and productivity.

Formación

• 6–10+ years building production test automation end-to-end.
• Strong test automation skills in JavaScript, TypeScript, Python or C#.
• SQL and relational database fundamentals for test data and debugging.
• API testing (Postman or similar) and UI automation (Playwright/Cypress).
• Functional/non-functional testing, with performance/load/resilience testing.
• Ability to write manual test cases when needed while building automated coverage.
• Experience with AWS in development or test context and CI/CD ownership.
• Experience with payments, FX, or regulated industries.
• Proven QA technical leadership and test-architecture experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication; experience with contract testing (Pact).
• Experience testing Windows apps and mobile app test automation.
• Experience leading modernization of test estates.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and maintain automated testing solutions for backend services, APIs, and payment workflows.
• Design testing strategies to improve quality and release confidence.
• Create automated and manual test coverage across onboarding, identity verification, payments, settlement, FX, and platform services.
• Build and maintain integration testing frameworks for third-party partners and external APIs.
• Collaborate with engineering to improve CI/CD quality standards and test infrastructure.
• Investigate production issues and translate findings into automated improvements.
• Lead testing strategy discussions and modernization initiatives.
• Mentor QA engineers on testing methodologies and quality standards.
• Utilize AI-assisted testing tools to boost productivity and coverage.
