Insight Global is seeking a Senior Backend Software Engineer to design, build, and scale the next generation of a payments platform. You will work across the full SDLC, from architecture through deployment, partnering with product, compliance, operations, and engineering leadership to deliver highly scalable backend services for payments, settlement, onboarding, and transactions.

The ideal candidate brings 6–10+ years of production backend experience, strong C# / .NET skills, and hands-on AWS

Formación

• 6 to 10+ years building production backend services, end-to-end.
• Strong backend proficiency in C# / .NET; other OO languages welcome (Java, Kotlin, Go, or equivalent).
• SQL and relational database fundamentals.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services supporting financial transactions and payment platform functionality.
• Build and enhance systems related to onboarding, payments, settlement, foreign exchange, and financial operations.
• Collaborate with product, compliance, and operational teams to deliver new capabilities from concept through deployment.
• Develop and maintain integrations with external partners and third-party platforms.
• Drive service reliability, monitoring, and production readiness within assigned domains.
• Participate in architecture discussions, technical planning, and design reviews.
• Provide mentorship to mid-level engineers and lead design decisions in your domain.
• Contribute to modernization efforts involving cloud infrastructure and platform transformation.
• Leverage AI-assisted development tools to improve productivity and code quality.
