Jobgether is seeking a Senior Python Developer based in Chile for a remote-first project focused on a mobile application for football fans. You will design scalable backend services, implement AI-powered features, and build robust APIs to enhance fan engagement and monetization while collaborating with an international team.

The role emphasizes modern technologies, cloud deployment (Azure), and CI/CD with a remote-friendly setup.

Qualificações

• Proven experience in Python development and building production-ready backend systems.
• Strong knowledge of FastAPI or Flask and RESTful API design.
• Experience integrating AI/ML services via APIs (OpenAI, Hugging Face or similar).
• Solid async programming, JSON data exchange and data processing skills.
• Databases experience with SQL and NoSQL (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
• Docker, cloud deployment and CI/CD pipelines; Azure experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of application security, OAuth2/JWT, data protection.
• Familiarity with Node.js is a plus but not required.
• Strong communication and ability to work remotely in an international team.
• Willingness to complete a HackerRank assessment.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Python and frameworks like FastAPI or Flask.
• Build and integrate RESTful APIs to support mobile features and fan experiences.
• Implement AI-powered features by integrating OpenAI, Hugging Face, or similar APIs.
• Develop asynchronous data flows and ensure reliable communication between components.
• Design and optimize SQL and NoSQL databases for performance and data integrity.
• Ensure secure authentication (OAuth2/JWT) and data protection practices.
• Containerize apps with Docker and support Azure-based deployments.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, testing and process improvements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable, user-focused solutions.
