Job summary

Jobgether is seeking a Senior Python Developer based in Chile to join a remote-first project building a mobile application for a professional football team. You will design robust backend services, implement AI-powered features, and build scalable APIs to enhance fan engagement and monetization, collaborating with an international team.

Qualifications

• Production-ready backend experience with Python and scalable systems.
• RESTful API design using FastAPI or Flask.
• Experience integrating AI/ML services via APIs (OpenAI, Hugging Face).

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Python and frameworks such as FastAPI or Flask.
• Build and integrate RESTful APIs to support mobile app features and fan engagement.
• Implement AI-powered features by integrating services and models from providers such as OpenAI, Hugging Face, or similar.
• Develop asynchronous data flows and reliable communication between components and external services.
• Design, optimize, and maintain SQL/NoSQL databases for performance and data integrity.
• Implement secure authentication/authorization (OAuth2, JWT) following data privacy practices.
• Containerize applications with Docker and support Azure cloud deployment.
• Contribute to CI/CD, deployment automation, testing, and development workflows.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable, user-focused solutions.
