Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Solutions Architect to lead applied AI initiatives for Latin America, focusing on AI-powered customer experiences and Amazon Connect deployments. You will drive technical strategy, collaborate with partners, and influence product roadmaps while mentoring regional teams.

The role blends hands-on architecture with strategic engagement across partners, internal teams, and AWS events to accelerate AI-enabled customer solutions in Latin America.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics or equivalent, or military experience.
• Experience in IT development or implementation/consulting in software or Internet industries.
• Experience within technology domains such as software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics.
• Experience in design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures.
• 4+ years of contact center, or 2+ years of contact center experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical strategy for AWS partners in Latin America, architecting applied AI and Amazon Connect solutions that improve how customers interact with businesses
• Collaborate with partners and internal go-to-market teams to design, validate, and deliver AI-powered customer experience solutions that meet specific business outcomes
• Develop and share best practices through technical content such as reference architectures, blog posts, workshops, and presentations at AWS events
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to partner teams and the broader Solutions Architect community, creating enablement materials that raise the technical bar in Latin America
• Gather and translate customer and partner feedback into clear requirements for AWS product and engineering teams to strengthen the applied AI and Amazon Connect roadmap

Education

Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics or equivalent, or military experience
