Kraken is building and evolving its Core Infrastructure - Platforms team to support a global crypto platform. The role focuses on operating and scaling Kubernetes-based infrastructure, collaborating with SRE, Networking, and Security to deliver a stable, scalable foundation for workloads.

Formación

• 3+ years in Site Reliability Engineer or similar roles.
• Excellent communication and customer-focused approach to resolving Kubernetes-related requests and blockers.
• Distributed systems fundamentals.
• Strong Linux systems knowledge.
• Networking fundamentals.
• Understanding of Kubernetes internals (control plane, scheduling, networking, storage).
• Familiarity with orchestration or advanced Kubernetes networking (Cilium).
• Ability to leverage AI tools and agents to deliver business value.
• Scripting or programming experience (Python, Bash, Go, or similar).

Responsabilidades

• Gain hands-on experience across Kubernetes cluster operations, deployments, networking, and scalability.
• Help build, and operate Kubernetes clusters across multiple datacenters.
• Triage and organize infrastructure issues, learning our systems and best practices along the way.
• Work with senior engineers to solve complex problems, reducing operational burden from the broader team.
• Build automation and tooling to improve team efficiency and reduce toil.
• Participate in on-call rotation to maintain platform reliability.
