Kraken is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to build and scale Payward Services infrastructure, enabling real-time coordination across services and safe, scalable movement of funds and assets.

You will design Rust services, write reusable code, and collaborate with a large engineering team to deliver robust, low-latency solutions while maintaining a security-first mindset and ownership of end-to-end systems.

Formación

• 5+ years of software engineering experience.
• Proficient in writing network services or asynchronous code in Rust.
• Have a security-first mindset during system design to ensure robustness.
• Demonstrate ability to autonomously debug issues across the stack (OS, network, application).

Responsabilidades

• Design and implement robust Rust services and libraries powering trading, payments, and crypto experiences.
• Write reusable, testable, high-performance code for revenue-critical systems.
• Collaborate on large-scale distributed systems architecture for low-latency solutions.
• Mentor other engineers and contribute to defining the technical culture.
