Infosys is hiring an Hosting Operational Continuity Engineer to oversee the Industrial Application Server Platform, including remote governance and 7x7 shift coverage for 12-hour cycles. The role emphasizes incident handling, SLA adherence, and complex virtualization management to support critical business processes.

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree or higher and 5+ years in large IT infrastructures, with strong VMware and Windows/Linux expertise, plus scripting and backup

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in IT or related field.
• 5+ years in management/operation roles of large IT infrastructures.
• Experience supporting server, virtualization, storage and backup platforms
• Experience meeting SLAs/KPIs for clients
• Proven VMware virtualization platform management experience
• PowerShell scripting for automation
• Experience with Windows Server 2012/2016/2019/2022 and Linux
• Experience with backup tools (VEEAM, Data Domain, etc.)
• Experience with storage arrays (EMC, NetApp, Dell, HP, IBM)
• Knowledge of SAN/NAS/iSCSI/Fiber Channel storage
• Knowledge of firmware upgrades using iDRAC/ILO/OneView
• Active Directory in multi-domain environments

Responsabilidades

• Provide SME support to solve priority problems within client environments.
• Ensure compliance with client’s platform standards and processes.
• Perform root cause analyses to reduce MTBF and downtime.
• Implement processing equipment and virtual machines into control inventories.
• Maintain remote access monitoring across servers and VMs.
• Proactively monitor the Industrial Application Server Platform.
• Support capacity management and incident resolution tasks.
• Lead high-priority incident investigations and RCA documentation.
• Update CMDB with equipment configurations and changes.
• Document and maintain platform diagrams and procedures.
