Cloudera is seeking a Forward Deployed AI Engineer to embed with customers and design scalable AI/ML solutions for enterprise use cases. You will build full-stack AI apps, work directly with customer teams, and shape AI architectures that align with security and governance standards.

The role combines remote and on-site engagement, with occasional travel up to 20%. Deep experience in ML systems, foundation models, and MLOps is highly valued, along with strong communication to executive audiences.

Formación

• 7+ years of experience building and deploying production-grade systems, including 2-4 years building ML systems or GenAI/agentic apps.
• Strong hands-on software engineering, data engineering, and applied AI/ML skills, with experience building full-stack ML applications or agentic systems.
• Experience with foundation models, context engineering, fine-tuning, semantic search, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and agentic workflows.
• Deep understanding of LLMOps/MLOps practices including evaluation, observability, serving, monitoring, and lifecycle management.
• Experience designing scalable AI architectures aligned to security, governance, and compliance.

Responsabilidades

• Build & Prototype AI Apps - Develop full-stack AI/ML apps and demonstrate enterprise use cases.
• Partner with Strategic Customers - Collaborate with customer teams to move from prototype to production.
• Shape Enterprise AI Architecture - Advise on AI roadmaps, solution design, deployment, and use cases.
• Codify Solution Patterns - Create repeatable reference architectures and starter kits.
• Multiply impact - Mentor teams and contribute reusable tooling and resources.
