IDB Invest is seeking an Environmental & Social senior Officer to lead E&S due diligence and ensure sustainability across financed projects. You will align projects with the ESSP, covering biodiversity, supply chains, and social issues including resettlement and Indigenous Peoples, with experience in Latin America and the Caribbean.

You will work in SEG to provide guidance, participate in project teams, and deliver technical input throughout due diligence and supervision stages.

Formación

• Experience in environmental and social impact assessments and monitoring of development projects.
• Proven ability to conduct due diligence, negotiation and supervision of ES aspects.
• Knowledge of IFC Performance Standards and social risk management is desirable.

Responsabilidades

• Lead environmental and social due diligence for investment proposals.
• Provide technical guidance on ESG matters throughout project design and implementation.
• Support clients in developing robust management systems and action plans.
