BHP Chile is seeking a Manager Engineering to lead engineering strategies and governance for major tailings-focused projects in the Santiago area. You will coordinate across study and project managers, align scope with cost and schedule, and drive safe, efficient delivery through a 4x3 roster when in execution.

Strong leadership and tailings experience are essential. The role reports to the Director of Engineering and Quality, with responsibilities spanning technical leadership, stakeholder

Formación

• Minimum 15 years’ experience in mining capital projects.
• Minimum 10 years in Tailings Storage Facilities design and execution.
• Minimum 10 years leading engineering teams in large complex projects.
• Minimum 2 years operating tailings storage facilities.
• Strong understanding of project controls, cost estimating, scheduling and project execution planning.
• Competent with MS Office, Aconex, Primavera and related systems.

Responsabilidades

• Provide engineering resources management to support project development and delivery.
• Lead engineering governance and assurance activities across the project lifecycle.
• Ensure integration of scope, cost, schedule, value and risk for the project.
• Manage relationships with construction, delivery, commissioning and ops teams.
• Mentor and develop engineering teams and ensure compliance with standards.
