Job summary

The Kraft Heinz Company in Santiago, Chile is seeking a Demand Planner to lead the monthly forecasting cycle, align with Commercial and supply teams, and drive improvements in forecast accuracy and service levels.

You will analyze historical sales, promotions, and inventory data, manage short- and long-term demand plans, and support IBP and S&OP processes while working in a fast-moving, matrixed environment. English proficiency required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Business, or Logistics.
• 5+ years of experience in Demand Planning, Forecasting, or related roles.
• Experience with S&OP and/or IBP processes.
• Strong analytical and forecasting skills with data-driven mindset.
• Advanced Excel and SAP knowledge; Power BI or similar tools desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly demand planning and forecasting with business sign-off.
• Analyze historical sales, depletion trends, seasonality, promotions, and inventory data.
• Improve forecasting methodologies to strengthen forecast accuracy and bias.
• Maintain visibility of planning KPIs and action plans.
• Ensure forecast submissions align with planning cycle.
• Support IBP, ITP, and long-term planning as a functional expert.
• Plan short- and long-term demand to support inventory and product availability.
• Monitor inventory and production plans and mitigate stock risks.
• Collaborate with Commercial, Logistics,Finance, Marketing, Category, and other stakeholders.
• Prepare reports on inventory, availability, back orders, risks, and planning performance.
